Fingers Crossed

I'm reluctant to even blog about this for fear that it will "jinx" it, but here goes nothing. Riley has reached another small milestone. Some of you may not think it's that exciting, but for Mommy and Daddy, it is! We were able to cut out Riley's 10:00 p.m. bottle and she slept all night long! Wow! She has done so good the past 2 nights. We feed her a bottle about 7:45 and she goes to sleep shortly thereafter and sleeps until about 6:30. I just hope it continues. It makes it a little easier for us since we both like to go to bed no later than 10:00 p.m. This means neither of us has to stay up for that late bottle.

We also let her eat a real banana for the first time last night. Before you start thinking we are bad parents, we put the banana in a teething feeder and she loved it! It was messy, of course, but I guess I should get used to that.

Tomorrow is Riley's 5 month birthday, so we're planning a family outing in the morning to Aldridge Gardens and then to lunch. Hopefully, the rain will hold off until after that.
